Release notes ACC MT Description: Air Center Control with Touch Display Software version: 2.3.0 Release date: October 2023 Hardware: 8 733 502 082 and 7 733 701 822 These release notes show an overview about the status of the software including limitations and known issues of ACC MT software version 2.3.0. Software Status 2.3.0: ---------------------- Newly added features: - Basic AF4300 support (see below for detailed description with limitations) Removed features: - Remote software update has been removed Improvements: - Stability, quality and security improvements - Less values shown on system monitor for improved user experience Limitations / known issues: --------------------------- General: - Remote software update has been removed, as the cloud will be switched-off, and only very few customers have used that feature. - To be able to select a country not yet existent in the pre-installed software version, this version must be already installed first. A factory reset is required after a software update to reach the installation wizard again to select the country. - This software can only be installed on ACC already executing 0.3 or higher. - Sometimes after a scan, the values for indoor units do not get updated on the GUI. Workaround: reboot once after scanning via the menu (graceful reboot). - AF4300 cannot be connected on the same XYE as MDCI/Multi Split/Large Split, or AF5300/AF6300 systems This general system limitation means, one XYE port only supports - either AF4300 systems - or AF5300/AF6300 systems - or MDCI/Multi Split/Large Split systems. AF4300: - Only "basic settings" are possible, those are: - On/Off, mode, temperature, fan-speed - Also, only those are available via Modbus/TCP This means, especially the following features are not yet supported: - Lock settings, output limitation, energy distribution, emergency shutdown - Physical IDU groups (grouping more than one IDU via cabling and ARC) are not yet supported by the ACC software. This means, each IDU is shown individually. As work- around, one can create a logical group for control on ACC side. - ODU errors are right now only shown as 2-digit error codes. Lock manager: - When changing the lock settings very fast multiple times on the same IDUs, the lock status displayed on the ACC may be out-of-sync. For example, the ACC shows no lock, although a lock within the IDU exists (locks are generally stored within the IDUs, not within the ACC). Work around: E.g. when setting a lock, and unsetting it again on the same IDUs, wait at least one minute after the first change before performing the second change of the lock settings. Group editor: - Although written differently in the manual, the group editor can only be access by an "Administrator" user. IDU listings: - Scrolling with a long list of IDUs: Use either scroll bar, or touch the white area left of the check boxes or right of the rename icon to scroll instead of drag-n-drop. Fault and event history - In rare cases, already solved errors on IDU side still show as pending error within the fault and event history. If this is the case, please clear the fault and event history. MDCI: - General system limitation - Dry mode can be enabled on all controls (ACC MT, ARC and IRC) for IDUs connected to MDCI systems, but response to ACC MT is always cooling mode. This means, after some seconds, ACC MT will show cooling mode instead of dry mode. - Only mode and IRC lock are possible, although others like ARC lock are now offered by the ACC MT, those locks are non-functional in MDCI systems. - IDUs which are in mode conflict are shown as "off" on ACC MT. - ACC MT shows always the default icon "4-way cassette IDU", independent from the real IDU type. - The current outdoor temperature display is not available. - System structure: No outdoor unit information available. - System monitor: No diagnosis data available for MDCI systems. - Limitations depending on ODU firmware - Although the ACC offers seven fan speeds, those may be mapped to three fan speeds in case the ODU executes an old firmware (update not possible). Use of seven fan speeds via the ARC and IRC still possible. Climate 5000L / Climate 5000M - ACC MT shows always the default icon "4-way cassette IDU", independent from the real IDU type. - Although the ACC offers seven fan speeds, those are be mapped to three fan speeds. Use of seven fan speeds via a local control is still possible. Energy distribution: - In case of a broken Modbus/RTU connection to a energy meter, the energy distribution report may need manual correction. - Energy distribution is only available for AF5300 and AF6300 - neither for AF4300 - nor for MDCI/Multi Split/Large Split Contact: -------- In case of facing abnormalities and limitations which are not recoverable by the resolutions offered in this document, please contact your regional sales department.
