Tailored to your project: The modular software architecture of the boiler control BCO is flexibly scalable – from central core functions right through to professional features. Its user experience (UX) is based on collaborative development with users and service experts. Displayed on high-performance HMI panels featuring capacitive multi-touch technology, it offers excellent ease of use and well-designed system navigation.

High degree of automation and top priority for operational safety

A significantly reduced operating effort and smooth processes are at the heart of the BCO. The system automates all control tasks, such as performance regulation, level control and demand-based desalting (steam). In multi-boiler systems, the central control system SCO coordinates the effective interaction between the boilers. Integrated monitoring and safety logic ensure operating safety.

Detailed data collection as the basis for well-founded analyses

To ensure data-driven and transparent operational management, the BCO records and archives key operational metrics such as boiler operating hours, burner starts and the number of cold starts. Clear and informative graphs and summary tables present this data in an easy-to-understand way. This allows you to track the development of your plant and document operational processes in full.

Predictive condition monitoring to improve efficiency and availability

Integrated condition monitoring increases plant availability and optimises efficiency. The intelligent software module continuously analyses relevant measurement and consumption data. In the event of deviations, such as excessively high desalting rates, users can take proactive action. A diagnostic function helps to pinpoint the cause of faults.

Plug & play: Quick commissioning and standard-compliant acceptance

The BCO is supplied to you fully tested and ready for connection, housed in a pre-wired wall-mounted or standing switchgear cabinet. The EU-type-approved safety chain generally simplifies regulatory approvals considerably and can eliminate the need for time-consuming, costly individual certifications. System-specific wiring diagrams and a design that is compliant with DIN EN 50156-1 and other regulations enable a swift on-site acceptance.

Simple boiler connection to your existing control system

Preconfigured interfaces in the BCO provide seamless integration with higher-level automation systems. Data is exchanged reliably via established industrial protocols (e.g. Profinet, Profibus, Modbus) and modern standards such as OPC UA and BACnet. This ensures a direct flow of information, centralised monitoring and a high level of process reliability.

Optional features for automatic start-up and secure remote access

The optional start-up control SUC enables steam boilers to be started up from a cold state in a way that is gentle on the equipment and fully automatic. With the Industrial Boiler Assist option, you gain secure remote access to the BCO for real-time monitoring from any location. The system has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
