Convenient plant management on high-performance industrial touchscreens

The system control SCO offers a clearly structured user interface on advanced HMI panels with capacitive multi-touch screens. Its operating philosophy (UX) is based on collaborative development with users and service experts. Configured specifically for each project, the SCO, working in conjunction with the boiler control BCO, automates the entire operation of the boiler system. Intelligent safety features ensure reliability.

Smart multi-boiler control for high energy efficiency and a long service life

The SCO’s sequence control extends the service life of multi-boiler systems and ensures smooth processes. It automatically adjusts steam and heat production to the actual demand. Through intelligent load distribution across the individual energy generators and proactive heat maintenance mode, you can lower energy costs, reduce the overall load on the system and improve operational reliability.

Simple integration of peripheral systems around the boiler

The SCO reduces the number of interfaces in the boiler house and coordinates the interaction of all connected components. Depending on the system configuration, modules such as water treatment, deaeration systems, condensate systems and foreign matter monitoring can be integrated directly. Industry-standard bus systems ensure reliable and stable data communication.

Seamless connection to the customer’s automation systems

The SCO’s flexible connectivity allows for easy plant integration into your central control system. Connection to higher-level visualisation and management systems takes place via all common industrial protocols (e.g. Profinet, Profibus, Modbus) as well as platform-independent standards such as OPC UA and BACnet. This ensures a seamless exchange of data in line with Industry 4.0.

Supplied as a plug & play solution for rapid on-site installation

You receive the control panel as a ready-to-connect unit and benefit from quick integration into your plant. Bosch supplies the SCO with preconfigured software and system-specific wiring diagrams in a fully wired switchgear cabinet. The factory operating test and standard-compliant design in accordance with DIN EN 50156-1 and other regulations facilitate installation and acceptance.

Mobile system monitoring as a system extension

With the optional Bosch Industrial Boiler Assist, you can expand the SCO to include mobile real-time monitoring. The system has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and provides secure remote access to the SCO control interface. Proactive alerts and online support from Bosch experts help to maximise plant availability.
