Volatile energy markets: The three most effective levers for your plant.

Manage your energy risks

Rising energy costs and an uncertain security of supply are key challenges for industrial companies. A plant that is merely operationally reliable today is not leveraging its full economic potential. Discover three key levers to increase your plant's efficiency, strengthen its resilience, and realize its full potential.

Efficient and sustainable steam: Kupfer's hybrid solution

How can surplus power from an on-site PV system be effectively utilized for steam generation? For food producer Hans Kupfer & Sohn, the goal was to make their energy-intensive steam generation more efficient, sustainable, and flexible. The solution is a forward-thinking hybrid system from Bosch: An ELSB electric steam boiler was integrated into the existing gas boiler system to utilize surplus electricity from a newly leased PV park.

The result: a significant reduction in fossil fuels, lower CO₂ emissions, and optimized energy costs, all thanks to the intelligent mix of different energy sources.

“On a sunny day, the electric steam boiler covers up to 50 % of our steam requirements. This significantly reduces our gas consumption and cuts CO2 emissions.”
