40 Tons of Steam for the Largest Danish Oil Refinery

For a new, independent steam generation system, the Danish oil refinery Equinor (formerly Statoil) is relying on a turnkey system solution from Bosch. The boiler system can generate over 40,000 kg/h of steam for the refining processes. Both UL-SX type boilers are equipped with superheater modules and reach temperatures of up to 250 °C. Bosch impressed with a strong overall package of consulting, commissioning, and maintenance, as well as installation together with its partner Hauge. The redundantly designed system ensures a reliable 24/7 steam supply for Equinor and provides highly automated operation.
